Study permits
Students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents and who plan to study in Canada for more than six months generally require a valid Study Permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). As a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), we provide the enrolment documentation needed to support a permit application. We recommend beginning 9–12 months in advance.
English proficiency
Instruction is in English. Applicants whose first language is not English demonstrate proficiency via IELTS Academic (typically 5.5+, depending on grade), TOEFL iBT, or a documented history of study in an English-medium school (minimum 2 years). We evaluate each application individually and want every student set up to succeed.
Homestay & accommodation
St. Bon's is a day school and does not operate a residence, but our Admissions team can refer families to reputable local homestay providers through our preferred HomeStay partners. Many families also have a parent or guardian relocate temporarily while their child settles in.
